Tudor first began producing it's TRU-ACTION games in the late 1940's. Besides the BASEBALL game they also made BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, AUTO RACING and I believe HORSE RACING as well. The football game was the most popular but the baseball game had it's following and it continued to be manufactured well into the 80's.
This is the 1958 version. This has been played with so it does show some play wear but it is free of rust or other defects and I believe it is complete except for the instructions. The field and the back stop have some divots and scratches from normal game play (to play the game the pitcher hurls a small magnetic metal ball at the backstop which the batter then tries to hit out into the field). The motor works like new and the field is nice and tight with no sagging. All the base runners are in perfect condition with no broken brushes. The bat and pitcher are both in excellent, perfectly functional condition. There is only 1 unused scoresheet.
The box lid is in average condition with some staining and some paint or something crusted on it in places. It is free of tears or holes.
