MUNRO Table Hockey Game CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS Tin Team 1950s

MUNRO Table Hockey Game CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS Tin Team 1950s

These were used on certain diamond post  50's era  Munro Tables.  They will not work on most other Munro tables because due to the position of the post bracket the sticks extend further out than the standard Munro players.  When you swing them they will get hung up on the sides due to the larger arc.  They can be easily distinguished by the slight curve on the outside edge of the mount.  They are also of heavier tin than the other Munro players.  These are much more difficult to find.  This particular set is in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT  condition.   I would grade it a 6-7 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).

MINT (10):
I will only give this grade to brand new, unused items. NEAR MINT (9):  Shows virtually no use.  Seldom if ever played.   Perhaps just the slighest bit of scuffing to the body or a tiny bit of paint loss in the post mount.   No rust, no bending.  EXCELLENT (7-8):  These were played with but very lightly.  Some minor paint scuffs probably a little heavier in the post mounts.  Maybe a tiny bit of rust starting in the mounts.  Perhaps a couple may have minor bending but they will lie basically flat.    VERY GOOD (5-6):  The players were not especially well cared for but are not badly worn.  There will be some scuffing from normal use as well as normal wear to the post mounts.  There may be some small rust spots but nothing that will detract from the general attractiveness of the players.  Some players may have bends.  GOOD (3-4): Obviously no care was taken with the players but they are still playable as is.  There will be noticable rust, paint wear and  bending.  POOR (1-2):  Only suitable to fill a space in your collection.  Heavy wear.  May be incomplete set.
